HKMU School of Education and Languages hosts global-minded language teachers' symposium

The School of Arts and Social Sciences at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) recently established collaborative partnerships by signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with two esteemed schools of universities in China. These agreements were forged with the School of Humanities at Shanghai Normal University, and the College of Liberal Arts at Shanghai University. The primary objective of these collaborations is to jointly nurture and cultivate talents in the fields of literature and creative writing.
Dr Rebecca Leung Mo-ling, Associate Dean of the School of Arts and Social Sciences at HKMU, represented HKMU A&SS during the signing ceremony. Dr Lu Suying, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Liberal Arts at Shanghai University, and Dr. Pan Liyong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Humanities at Shanghai Normal University, affixed their signatures to the MoUs on 18 and 20 December 2023 respectively. These collaborative agreements signify the commitment of the involved parties to closely collaborate and promote the advancement of literature and creative arts writing education.
