A team of four business students, Agnes Ho Yan-tung, Noa Wong, Arianna Cui Yuan and Myra Lee Yan-hei, won the first runner-up title in the HKGCC Business Case Competition 2024/25, organised by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC). They were rewarded with a cash prize of HK$20,000 and one-year HKGCC student associate memberships.
The theme of the competition was “Shaping the Future of Businesses with Creativity and Innovation”. The team selected a business case that highlights the significance of the HKGCC in fostering an agile and environmentally sustainable workplace. The contestants were required to submit proposals for creating a flexible and agile workspace, implementing sustainable practices and enhancing employee wellbeing.
The objectives of the HKGCC Business Case Competition are to promote the exchange of ideas between tertiary students and businesses and to encourage students to utilise the skills and knowledge learned in class to develop solutions for real-life business problems.
